We are building in a feature that would enable employees of organizations to automate their official expenses claim process, using Greytip Online.

Some of the salient features are:

• Ability to create any number of expense heads
• Employees can post claims online. These can be approved by Managers or Finance team
• Ability to disperse these claims through Cash or Bank Transfers.
• Payment cycles can be weekly, forthnightly or monthly.

Greytip Software was one of the 12 product companies (and the only one in HR/Payroll category) chosen to be showcased at the NASSCOM Product Conclave 2009 held in Bangalore on 27/28 October, 2009.  The sell-out conclave had speakers like Guy Kawasaki, Kiran Karnik, Naeem Zafar, Orna Berry, Rajesh Hukku apart from the who's who of IT industry in attendance.

From October 1st 2009 onwards, organizations would need to file their eTDS returns in a new format as specified by the Income Tax Department.
 

As usual, we are ready with the next release of Greytip Online: Release 2.3.6.  As you recall, the previous release 2.3.5 was done on July 17, 2009.

This release promises to be the greatest release of Greytip Online so far!

We are done with revamping our greytip.in website which was due for some time and returning visitors will notice the difference.

We are having a routine server maintenance / upgrade activity slated for early morning tomorrow.

To be specific: It's on Sunday morning, Aug 30, 2009 between 05:00 and 07:00  hours (IST).

This is in preparation to our software upgrade we are planning next week which is going to be quite interesting...  You can expect another announcement of server downtime.

By 2011, there will be major changes in the environment for payroll outsourcing / PF consulting agencies.
